A native New Yorker, April began her working career in Manhattan, on Wall Street. After getting burnt out by city life, April moved to Jacksonville, Florida where she met her husband Drew.  There she attended Florida State College at Jacksonville, where she took classes in Interior Design. Life brought babies, and less time for school. After helping out friends, building 2 homes in Jacksonville, one in Atlanta and now another one in Denver, April has used her life experiences to become a self-taught interior designer. She believes you can have a beautiful home on any budget by using existing items, and adding small inexpensive details to create the home you’ve always dreamed of.

April Carney is a wife, and mom of two beautiful girls who currently lives in Denver, Colorado. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling (especially to the beach), skiing, running, listening to live music, rooting for the New York Giants, eating great food and drinking good wine and beer!
